Our mission to support young people doesn't end with cool looking design.

To empower people we need to consider their basic needs, and their ability to meet these in the present and future. Our work is to use design, research and imagination to create engaging and effective tools for professional like you—our mission... Well that's much bigger.

We model the change we hope to see.

It involves being an ethical company from the ground up - considering micro and macro level factors. Social learning theory posits individuals are more likely to imitate behaviour they see modelled by others (Bandura, 1977), meaning just witnessing prosocial behaviour can inspire others to behave similarly (Caprara et al., 2019).

Empowerment and responsibility as core principles of our business require we acknowledge structural inequalities and seek to alleviate these for others. We promise to not just model prosocial behaviour, but to do so in a way which targets vulnerable youth cohorts to ensure the greatest benefit through our work.

We support small organisations doing difficult work.

Each purchase includes a donation to an enterprise that supports young people, starting with the one below. We make this clear because we want these good vibes to be something you get to share, because Research shows individuals who engage in acts of kindness experience greater happiness (Aknin et al., 2013), as well as lower stress levels throughout life (Post et al., 2015).

The Lighthouse Foundation for Youth

They help support young people who have experienced trauma and homelessness in our homeland, Australia. They have a strong focus on mental health and evidence-based therapy, are non-denominational and independent, as well as accredited to provide homelessness services by the Quality Improvement Council Ltd.

Feeels Co. has no affiliation with this group other than an affinity for their cause. Our organisations rotate every six months, so feel free to drop us a suggestion for any you feel might be suitable in the second half of 2024!
